Orthodontic Assistant

My career in the dental industry began over 20 years ago, in 1997 I started as an Orthodontic Assistant and never looked back. I love my job, the best part is meeting patients when they get braces and seeing the results of Orthodontic Treatment. There is always so much excitement in the beginning when the braces go on and then even more excitement when they come off! It’s so rewarding to help make someone’s smile straighter and brighter. Working with Dr. Newman and her team is so inspiring, everyone works like a team to treat all of our unique and fun patients.

In my personal life, I am a proud mother to two beautiful girls. My oldest daughter is a national record holder for high school shot put. She even went to Peru and won GOLD in the Pan American Games. She currently attends UCLA in California for Shot Put, Hammer & Discus. My youngest daughter is following in her sister’s footsteps, she is on the Track & Field team for Shot Put, Hammer & Discus as well,, and working towards beating her sister’s records. She’s also very crafty and makes some of the coolest DIY stuff, from clothes, to purses, to fun knick-knacks. When I’m not keeping busy with my active daughters, my husband and I love watching movies and Netflix shows. We also just adopted a new cat, and named him Mako (like the shark).
