Dr. Yana Newman is a Preferred Provider of Invisalign in Bordentown, NJ and Cream Ridge, NJ. She has experience utilizing Invisalign in many patients with a variety of different orthodontic needs. Additionally, Dr. Newman is a Board Certified Orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontics. Only 40% of all orthodontists have taken this extra step and completed difficult oral and written examinations to become Board Certified.

How Does Invisalign Work?
Dr. Yana Newman and her team will start the process by taking pictures and x-rays of your current teeth and smile. Then using the iTero scanner they will create a digital 3-D model of your teeth. That model is then used by Invisalign to create a series of custom fit clear plastic aligners that will gently move your teeth into position. With the use of technology like ClinCheck®, patients can see their virtual treatment from start to finish. ClinCheck® allows Dr. Newman and her patients to review the treatment and make adjustments to ensure the best possible outcome.
Invisalign aligners are completely removable so you will be able to eat, drink, brush and floss as normal. Approximately, every two weeks, you’ll start using a new aligners, and eventually, your teeth will be in the position prescribed by Dr. Newman. Treatment length varies from patient to patient, but the average is about 9-15 months. The cost of Invisalign is comparable to traditional metal braces and most insurance plans that offer orthodontic coverage will apply to Invisalign treatment as well. Invisalign First
With Invisalign First, you can start to improve your child’s smiles as they grow. As a child grows, their smile grows with them. And even with baby teeth, it may be the perfect time for children ages 6 to 10 to start orthodontic treatment. This is known as Phase 1 treatment. The goal of Phase 1 treatment is to develop young jaws and/or arches to make room for existing teeth and for incoming permanent teeth.
