About Dr. McNamara
Dr. Nancy McNamara is a board-eligible specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She grew up in New Jersey and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from The College of Saint Elizabeth. After graduation, Dr. McNamara worked for several years at New York University Medical School doing biomedical research and simultaneously attained a Master’s Degree in Biology at NYU.
Having decided to make a career change, Dr. McNamara earned the degree of Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed a residency program at Morristown Memorial Hospital. While at UMDNJ, she was honored with election to Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) the National Dental Honor Society. The criteria for election to OKU are exemplary character, superior scholarship and potential for professional growth.
Dr. McNamara was accepted into the postgraduate program at Fairleigh Dickinson Dental School, where she earned her Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 1986. She has very happily lived and practiced in the Bordentown area since 1989. She is a history buff and enjoys gardening, travel and photography.
